Sweet Loves of Mine

17 Jan

Today Lila said, “Nature is so great”. Though I have no idea what that was about, I’m so glad I’m the one that heard it. And when Thomas cries about 50-60 times a day to be held…I’m the one that gets to hold him. I truly feel lucky to be a homemaker. Is “homemaker” too ’50s? For me, it’s the best thing in the world. Of course there are bad days, a lot of bad days really, especially in the winter. During these winter months, we all develop a mad case of cabin fever. The constant picking up of the same toys and crying because “Thomas took the baby I was just going to play with,” though she was no where near it. When bedtime comes around, I’m quite excited, but after about an hour I actually miss them. And when Lila started preschool last fall, I didn’t know how I was going to get through the day ( 2 1/2 hours actually). We have our definite highs and lows, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. Little messy blessing they are.

I miss having my kids be little. Enjoy it! They grow up too fast!

    I SO love that!

As much as I whine/complain, it is truly a blessing to stay at home with Miss Bea –they do grow up way too fast!
