MMMMM! I must make this tasty sounding bars instantly! 🙂
WE just made them again, last night. We’ve been making them 1-2 a week:)
I just popped these in the oven! I love the recipe! So easy. I added dried cranberries and sliced almonds too. Can’t wait to try them!
We just made them again and used sliced almonds, yum!
I put some in a mini muffin tin… they didn’t need to cook as long so they are a little well done! I need to let them cool! Thanks for a great recipe. I enjoy your blog!
That’s a good idea!
I am definitely making these! Yum.
This is another perfect after school treat. My littles would love these (especially with chocolate chips)! Simple and versatile; I think one of mine would enjoy measuring out the ingredients.
I usually make 1/2 without chocolate chips and add nuts and flax seeds for breakfast. They don’t last long around here. Our 18 month old wakes up saying “bar please”.
Oh, that’s a great idea. I’ll try it that way too. My littles are headed back to school this week, which will free up some time to make these!
wow, do these ever sound amazing!! I can see myself waking up saying “bar please!” too!
yum yum! as summer approaches and it’s time for outdoor energy snacks, I look forward to trying this!
Wow, looks yummy. Can we use caster sugar instead of brown?
Thanks! I’ve never tried using regular sugar, so I’m not sure. You would probably need a lot less if you do.
This is the American version of what we call ‘Flapjacks’ in the UK. Whenever I’ve tried to make them, they’ve turned out rubbish. I’ll try it one more time. Plus, I have really great tasting organic honey from Africa that will make it taste AWESOME!
Ooh, yum! That sounds so good:)
This sounds great! Gonna be another one that my daughter would want to help out on. Cheers for visiting my blog too.
Thanks:) The kids love making these with me. They especially like that they can taste everything while we’re making it.
