Toddler Eats

Pesto pasta with corn and peas

Sherpherd’s Pie

Berry Delicious

We’ve been very lucky in the food department with Lila – she’ll eat anything and is allergic to nada. With Thomas, we had a bit of a rough start…food seemed to really upset his belly and he was so, so picky. After his allergies were figured out, he was a new boy and far less choosy – which made this foodie mama most excited. There are a couple things he certainly doesn’t like – meats (with the exception of carnitas, salmon and shepherd’s pie) & milk. We do eat mostly vegetarian which works to his benefit and is the main reason we do so.

I feel very lucky that my little girl also has no allergies for now, and eats almost anything. She has had her moments but I’ve managed to keep my outside cool and appear nonplussed when something’s been rejected despite my inner turmoil (but you MUST EAT SOME VEGETABLES/PROTEIN/CARBS/SOMETHING/ANYTHING!). She’s nearly 3 now and a big fan of veggies (currently) for which I am eternally grateful. Long may it continue!
